TREC provides the same Geddie experience that you love, but with a more intentional focus on nature. This can mean more nature walks, more time on the canoes, nature themed crafts, picnic meals, and creation focused Bible Study & Vespers. Campers will also spend more time learning outdoor skills such as how to build shelters, use a compass, how to identify certain plants, and how to make trail markers. The emphasis during these weeks is to enjoy and love God’s creation.
If you aren’t sure which week is best for your camper, feel free to email the director to discuss which option is best. Or you can always register your camper for both programs and know they will get two very different, but equally meaningful camp experiences.

TREC stands for Teens Ready to Enjoy Creation
